Built for assisted living

Know every floor is covered — before the shift starts.

CarePlena builds the rota from your rotations, checks your coverage rules as you go, and lets staff trade shifts without anyone ending up in two places at once.

  • Coverage checked as you build
  • Staff trade their own shifts
  • Not a retail rota with a logo

Why this is hard

The rota is never the problem. The 4:50pm phone call is.

Somebody calls out. Ten minutes later you are working out who is already on, who is over their hours, and who can actually be in Memory Care rather than just on the building.

A spreadsheet cannot say no

It will happily let you put the same carer on two floors at once, and it will never mention that her CPR card lapsed on Tuesday.

Fully staffed, still short

Six on the floor sounds covered. It is not covered if all six are upstairs and nobody is posted to Memory Care downstairs.

The swap nobody wrote down

Two carers sort Thursday out between themselves in a group chat. The schedule — and the surveyor — never hear about it.

Coverage, post by post

Six on the floor is not the same as six in the right places.

CarePlena reads your rules against the rota as you build it, and splits each shift by station. A shift can look fully staffed and still leave Memory Care downstairs uncovered — that is the gap this catches.

Moves between floors

1/1

The float counts toward the shift, never toward one station's minimum — so nobody is counted as covering two places at once.

One platform, three jobs

Three people, three different questions.

The scheduler, the carer and the administrator each open CarePlena wanting something different. Each of them gets their own answer, not the same screen.

01

The scheduler

“Is next week covered?” Generate it from everyone's rotation, see the gaps by day and station, fill them, then publish when it is ready.

02

The carer

“When am I on, and where?” Their four weeks with the station for each shift — and a way to offer Thursday to somebody else without a phone tree.

03

The administrator

“Can I show this to a surveyor?” Certifications with expiry dates, coverage rules on the record, and every change logged with who and when.

Getting started

You will know inside an hour whether this fits.

  1. 1

    Bring one real week

Your shift times, your stations, your coverage rules — not a sample dataset that behaves itself.

  2. 2

We build it in front of you

Rotations entered once, then the week generates. You watch the rules catch the gaps you already know about.

  3. 3

Publish, and let staff at it

Carers get their own week and the trade board. You keep the machinery.

Stop finding out at handover.

See CarePlena built around your own floors, your own stations and one week of your real rota.
